With all the lemons that life threw at me, here are some of the bruises that made me rethink of how I will make a lemonade out of it next year. :D
1. Never ever take shortcuts. Follow rules, skipping one step will lead you to more complications and worst to your downfall.
2. Think a hundred times before making a decision. I am sure many of us heard this already but believe me. thinking like a pro will save your time, money and effort.
3. Trust your instincts. Never ignore your instincts, it won't lie like people do.
4. Never give your trust on someone easily, they might be vultures lurking and waiting for your fall.
5. SAVE $$$$... believe it or not, money is essential in this material world. No one can help you but yourself, you can never depend on someone since they will attend to their own needs first before helping others.
6. Be transparent so others will know what to expect from you. Tell them outline of your plan and make them understand what you want from them and where you stand financially and your progress.
7. Be independent. This is somehow related to #5 but to elaborate, be independent not just financially but also in other aspect in your life eg. emotionally, intellectually. Don't be afraid to walk your journey alone.
8. Don't be afraid to be different. Be you, decide what's best for you even if others disagree. Always remember, they are not living your life, you are.
9. Learn to let go of all the things that hurt you, surrender to what is and have faith on what will be.
10. Last but not the least... Never use cheap make up. :D you don't want to look ugly and problematic in the middle of your battle right? So be smart and invest on your make up.
This might not be the first time you heard these things but this list will definitely be my guide for my next year battle with life :D Make your own list and reflect before this year ends :D
